We are going to be doing our bit for the club this season by enabling members to get involved with the club player sponsorship scheme.

Each year the club gives the chance for individuals/groups/business etc... to take part in sponsorship and sponsor a player. The cost is �100 per player and the draw is made at the start of next season to decide who gets which player.

This forum will be mentioned in the match day program and after the player(s) name when the teams are read out and when the player(s) score. Also a ticket for a match comes with any player sponsored. So if we manage to raise enough money to sponsor 3 players then we will have 3 tickets up for grabs!

All members who donate have a chance of winning these tickets. The system is pretty simple. For each �1 that is donated, you get 2 entries into the draw. So if you donate �5 you will have 10 entires, �10 would be 20 entries and so on. Draws will be held throughout the season and will be drawn randomly by a computer.

If you would like to contribute to the player sponsorship scheme for this forum then there are two ways of doing it. You can either send me a cheque for the amount (Send me an email at forum@whitehavenrl.co.uk for address details) or donate via our online paypal gateway (credit/debit card facility).

Ideally i would prefer it if you could pay via cheque as all of the monies would go to the club. If you do pay via paypal roughly 2% will go to paypal for using their services (if you donated �5 you would still only pay �5, the 2% is taken off that, also you will still get the 10 draw entires for the tickets in the example of �5). If you can't donate by cheque then by all means use paypal.

All donations will be recorded on this forum so people can keep track of the exact amount of how much has been raised (If you wish to donate but remain anonymous then please state that to me).

I will then write a cheque out for the total amount collected and this will then be presented at the sponsorship evening.
