Hi all,
just thought I would drop a quick suggestion for this category.

Major wax:

I begin with a good wash using "Dawn" dish soap to remove all of the old wax. Do this only if you are going to do a MAJOR wax redo. After drying with a water blade and an "absorber" towel, I detail all of the crevices etc.

Next, I apply 3M "Show Polish" to the car. I let it dry then buff for a really nice shine. This does not protect the car from UV however, so I follow this with an application of Meguiers Gold Class wax which I find very good. Again, waiting for the dry time, I buff. Finally, I follow up with a wax removal detailing from around the clear bra, mirrors, Roundels, etc...

This method usually lasts a good three months and looks great.

Good luck rolleyes.gif
