The following is the bill that is up for a vote in the National Assembly. Please vote AYE, NAY, or Present. This vote will last until June 3rd, 2005.

QUOTE
REMEDY FOR THE PEOPLE ACT OF 2005
First Reading: May 24, 2005

1. Other than through the procedure prescribed by the constitution, laws of the United States of America may be decided upon by the government of the United States of America as well.

2. Laws decided upon by the government of the United States of America may deviate from the provisions of the constitution as long as they do not affect the institutions of the National Assembly and the Judicial System as such. The constitutional rights of the President shall remain intact.

3. Laws decided upon by the government of the United States of America shall be issued by the PrimeMinister and announced in the Government Law Gazette. They shall take effect on the day following the announcement, unless they prescribe a different date. Laws decided upon by the government of the United States of America shall not be required to follow the proper passage of legislation.

4. Contracts of the United States of America with foreign states which affect matters of United States of America legislation shall not require the approval of the bodies concerned with legislation. The government of the United States of America shall issue the prescriptions required for the execution of such contracts.

5. This law shall take effect with the day of its announcement. It shall become invalid on September 28, 2005 or earlier, if the present United States government is succeeded by a different one.

6. The defintion of the United States Government shall mean the Prime Minster and the ministers appointed.
