This evening, I have issued an order of emergency military invasion upon the Communist nation of Cuba. The dictatorship, located just 90 miles off of the coast of South Florida, has been a safe-haven for international terrorists and citizen oppression. The people of Cuba have been starving for freedom from the Fidel Castro regime since the early 1960s. A group of 800 Cuban exiles, known as the "Cuban Freedom Fighters," have begun to infiltrate sectors of the Cuban government. I have deployed 200,000 American troops to the area. 20 Navy cruisers have been stationed in international waters surrounding the secluded island. No ultimatum is needed, for the Castro regime has been warned that this day will come for the past 45 years. A blitzkrieg-style "shock and awe" attack will be hurled upon Havana, the capital of Cuba. This portion of the conflict has been codenamed "Operation Havana Storm."
