i don't want bush to win because the war on "terror" is fucking bullshit. theres no way the united states can stop terrorism, to think that would be neive. what we can do is worry about our economy which is crashing which no one seems to care about since everyone's so terror hungry. don't get me wrong i dont like kerry either, but bush went to a war over nothing. we never found any nuclear weapons or anything, the reason why we're getting "terroristic attacks" on us now is because we're trying to change everyone in the middle easts way of life. but yea for me kerry is the much lesser of two evils and i think he has the right ideas he's just alittle misguided.

what are you talking about!? i have listened to kerry and heard what he has to say and he's somewhat intellegent. u keep on not looking at how terrible of a president bush has been our economy is in the slumps, he sent many american citizens to iraq for no reason, and he wants to fight a war thats impossible to win. kerry realizes that without an economy we will never be able to fight "terror" and thats what bush refuses to look at. the amount of money hes using to fund this futile war is going to put us in a depression cause he's not even creating jobs or any rational.

I don't think we are anywhere near a depression, and if so the best thing to help an economy is a war Anyways I am probably the strongest standing Republican in this forum so maybe that's why I believe that Kerry is a fool.

first of all, there both idiots, and we'd be better off with a rock running for president, however i believe Kerry is worse than Bush. You can't blame Bush entirely for the economy, as he entered at a bad time. Pile that up with 9/11 and you've got a terrible economy regardless of who the president is. And i see what you mean when you say we can't fight a war on terrorism itself, but we can however fight terrorists. And I supported the war on Iraq, but for different reasons than Bush went in (which was oil and finishing where his dad left off).

And something i noticed about this campaign, nobody really LIKES either of the candidates. They either think they both suck, but bush isnt as bad, or that kerry isn't as bad. Just goes to show what this country has degraded to.

but we don't need to make our own freakin war. when we tried to bring our plans for this "war" to the united nations everyone said it was completly retarded and assenine and they would not support us through it, except for some countries like england. now that we went through with this war we damaged many of our foreign ties all because mr bush needed to get reelected. maybe saying a depression was alittle over the edge but we're gonna be fucked if people don't stop worrying about terrorism and look at the real threat.

I think Terriosm at the moment is the biggest threat, our economy is in Recession/Recovery part of the cycle. And in my opinion it's not that as bad as it could be.

you can think that, however we cant stop terrorism the only thing we canf do is prevent terroristic attacks and thats by heightening security which is kerrys gameplan. but i still cant beleive u think us sending god knows how many troops to iraq because our president thought they had nuclear weapons was ok. think about how many people were killed just because bush assumed that iraq was gonna nuke us. and they didnt find anything...this political forum isnt for me lol

Actually, Kerry strongly believes in the Draft, and I have just the same chance of going to war with Kerry as president then I do Bush.

I'm always skeptical with a politcal thread/forum because they often end in fights.

he beleives in the draft so what? i beleive in the draft too, but he has spoken that he is strongly against this "war on terrorism." saying that he beleives in a draft means nothing.

That's a total joke, everyone disagrees with a war. People die. Kerry can't just snap his fingers and make all the no-no's go away along with the terriost. If a terriost attack happened I rather Bush be president then Kerry.
