Assalamu `alaykum wa-rahmatullahi wa-barakatuhu

About 6 months ago we started a new and local project, which essentially consisted of translating traditional texts from English to Dutch. The project has thusfar resulted in a team, a site, a forum and the uploading of 6 translated texts onto our website, while currently working on 20 other ones wal hamdulillah. This result can be seen on Sunni.nl. However, from the beginning one of our goals was to open a publishing house, which will become a reality in the near future insha'allah. It was initially meant to publish traditional books in Dutch, translated from English. However, during my stay in Syria I also managed to begin to arrange the translation of Arabic books into English and to publish them. The focus of our publications is clarification of concepts and phenomena from a traditional perspective, and it is through this perspective that we hope to contribute something to English Islamic literature. For this we will need all the help we can get, most urgently we need brothers and sisters that are able and willing to invest financially into this project. Insha'allah many of you will, to the best of their abilities, help us out with this. Alhamdulillah, some of you have already comitted themselves to this support. Aside of seeking financial possibilities, we are also exploring the options on how to improve our work and strategy and to expand our endeavours. As such, we are looking for help on several levels as well as tips on how to find such help. In summary, we are looking for:

1) English speaking Islamic scholars, professional translators experienced in translating Islamic texts, English speaking students of the Shari`ah and others that are capable of assisting in the translating of Arabic Islamic texts.
2) Designers that are experienced in designing the covers of our books.
3) Printing companies in Europe or the Middle East that offer quality work for reasonable prices.
4) Islamic bookstores worldwide that may be interested in purchasing our books.
5) Publishing houses that may be willing to cooporate with us in this project.
6) Tips for traditional books that clarify modern misconceptions, which you'd like us to translate and publish.
