Purpose

The Federal Register forum is partially modeled after the Federal government's Federal Register. As such, all rules and regulations originating from Administrative agencies will be posted here. Additionally, Executive Orders (EOs) stemming from the President shall be published in this forum.

To Make an Administrative Action Legally Binding

In order to make an administrative agency action or executive order legally binding, the person issuing the rule, regulation, or EO must post it or a link to it in the "Submissions" topic in this forum. After such, EOs shall become law and rules and regulations shall be published.

All rules and regulations must be announced before going into law and a period of 10 days must elapse after the publication before the issuer of the rule or reg can make it legally binding.

Comments on a new rule or regulation

As is true with its real-life counterpart, comments on proposed rules and regulations will be allowed in this forum. Any submitted rule or regulation will not take affect until at least 10 days after publication. After such time, the Secretary or issuer of the rule or regulation must make another post in the "Submissions" thread stating that the rule is to go into affect as planned.
