Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.
This act may be cited as the "President Harry Truman $50 Bill Act."

SECTION 2. LIKENESS OF PRESIDENT TRUMAN REQUIRED TO BE INCLUDED ON THE FACE OF $50 FEDERAL RESERVE NOTES.
The 8th undesignated paragraph of section 16 of the Federal Reserve Act (12 U.S.C. 418) is amended by adding at the end the following new sentence: "The face of $50 Federal reserve notes printed after January 1, 2006, shall bear the likeness of President Harry S Truman."
