Section 1. The Rule

The Designated Hitter rule has soiled baseball by allowing a purely offensive position, by disturbing inter-league statistics, and by letting pitchers off the proverbial hook.

Therefore, Major League Baseball is instructed to end the Designated Hitter rule.

Section 2. Enforcement

If Major League Baseball does not ban the Designated Hitter rule by Opening Day 2007, it will lose its right as a monopoly under the law.
